The Roads & Transport Authority has installed Nol Ticket Vending Machines at all bus stations, Metro stations and main bus stops of Dubai. Here I provide step-by-step process to recharge Nol card from a vending machine as follows.

1. Go to your nearest Metro station or bus station.
2. Find a vending machine and place your Nol card on it.
3. As you place the card, the machine screen will show card type and balance.
4. You should choose “Top up nol” option to continue.
5. Select/Enter the amount to recharge and make payment for the same.

When Can I Use My Nol Card After Recharge?

You need a computer/laptop or any device with a browser and internet connection to check your Nol card balance online.

1. First of all, open a web browser and go to RTA official website.
2. Find out “Check nol balance” and click on the tab to expand it.
3. Enter your Nol card tag ID i.e. 10 digit number printed on back of the card.
4. Click on Search button and complete Captcha verification process.
5. Your Nol card balance, pending credit and expiry date will appear on screen.

In case you have recently done a recharge on your Nol card, please waist for at least 45 minutes. Your Nol card will show updated balance after 45 minutes of recharge. Sometimes, it takes up to 4 hours to show updated balance after recharging your Nol card.

If you see any pending credit when checking your Nol card balance, you should add it to the card balance.

The pending credit is the amount added to your Nol card but it is not activated yet and hence not added to the main balance.
