Abu Dhabi Visa Medical Test Centers: Appointment, Test, Result Guideline
Every foreign worker has to go through medical check up in Abu Dhabi to get residence visa. The medical check up for visa is called Visa Screening Test or Medical Fitness Test. It is conducted to check the health status of the visa applicant. An expat worker must be free from all contagious diseases to get UAE residence visa i.e. an official permit for working in the UAE.
Is the Medical Fitness Test Mandatory for UAE Residence Visa?
Yes, the Medical Fitness Test is mandatory for everyone applied for UAE residence visa. The UAE government has clear instructions that all foreign people above the age of 18 years have to go through the medical fitness test to get an approval for UAE residence visa.
In short, there is no way to get residence visa in Abu Dhabi or other Emirates of UAE without giving the medical fitness test i.e. visa screening test at a government approved medical center.
