The Federal Authority charges Emirates ID Fees for 2 years, 5 years or 10 years as per its service fee structure. The UAE citizens and expats must pay Emirates ID fees when applying for a New Emirates ID or for Emirates ID Renewal.

2023 Update: Emirates ID Fees Increased by AED 100

The Federal Authority, UAE Government has increased service fee for Emirates ID by AED 100. So, the total Emirates ID Fees will be AED 100 more compared earlier.

If you paid AED 280 as Emirates ID fees for 2 years in 2022 then you have to pay AED 380 as Emirates ID fees for 2 years in 2024. The Emirates ID validity is same but the service fee is increased.

The expats can apply for an Emirates ID online through Smart Services ICP Portal. The Emirates ID Fee Structure for Expats in UAE is as under;

The expats who need their Emirates ID in 24 hours can use the urgent service available at any Customer Happiness Center in UAE. The urgent service fee is AED 150 that is charged from the applicant in addition to the regular service fee and the Emirates ID Card is delivered in 24 hours.

• Emirates ID Fees for 2 Years for Urgent Service: AED 530 (AED 380 + AED 150)

If you want to apply for an Emirates ID for 2 years under urgent service, you have to pay AED 530 as fees. These fees include AED 380 regular service fees and AED 150 urgent service fee.

The Emirates ID urgent service is available at all Customer Happiness Centers but it is not available online at ICP web portal.

Emirates ID Renewal Fees for 2 Years for Expats

All expatriates need to renew their Emirates ID time-to-time to stay & work in the UAE. When applying for renewal at ICP portal, the expats have to pay Emirates ID renewal fees for 2 years as under;

• Emirates ID Renewal Fees for 2 Years: AED 270
• Emirates ID Renewal Fees for 3 Years: AED 370

Emirates ID Renewal Fees for 2 Years for Expats for Urgent Service

The Customer Happiness Centers provide an urgent service for Emirates ID renewal. The expats can use the urgent service by paying AED 150 extra to renew their Emirates ID and receive the new ID card in 24 hours.

• Emirates ID Renewal Fees for 2 Years for Urgent Service: AED 420 (AED 270 + AED 150)

In case you want to renew your Emirates ID for 2 year under urgent service, you need to pay AED 270 regular fee + AED 150 urgent service fee i.e. Total AED 420 to apply for Emirates ID renewal at a Customer Happiness Center nearby your location.

Emirates ID Fees at Amer Centers

There are many Amer Centers in Dubai. The Emirates ID Services are available at all Amer Centers but the fee structure can be different. So, the Emirates ID fees at an Amer Center will be always higher than the fees charged by Federal Authority at ICP portal.

The expats who want to save money, are advised to apply online for an Emirates ID through Smart Services ICP portal. The expats who need more assistance, should visit a nearby Amer Center to apply for an Emirates ID in-person.

Different Amer Centers charge different fees for Emirates ID Application in the UAE.

For example: The Amer 247 Center charges AED 462 as Emirates ID Fees for 2 Years. On the other hand, Amer Center Al Tawar takes AED 275 for Emirates ID Fees for 2 Years. So, it depends on the Amer Center and its service fee structure.
